Effects of this medicine

This medicine inhibits liberation of leukotriene and histamine, allergy-causing substances, and suppresses the action of these liberated substances. It consequently improves symptoms of rhinitis including sneezes, nasal discharge and congestion, breathing difficulty attributed to bronchus contraction, and skin manifestation such as hives and itch. It is usually used in the treatment of bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, hives, eczema/dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, pruritus and prurigo. However, it is not a medicine for relief of asthmatic attack which has already developed.
