This medicine inhibits activation of T-cell related with immunity to suppress abnormal immune reactions.

It is usually used to inhibit the rejection of organ transplantation (kidney, liver, heart, lung, pancreas, small intestine) and the the rejection/graft-versus-host disease caused by bone-marrow transplantation.
