Effects of this medicine

This medicine suppresses progression of symptoms such as muscle weakness and difficulty in swallowing food by neuronal cell protecting action.

It does not improve/relieve symptoms.

It is usually used to treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and slow progression of symptoms.
