This medicine is a synthetic corticosteroid, and shows anti-inflammatory effects and suppresses inflammation.

It is usually used to treat eczema/dermatitis, prurigo, insect bite, psoriasis, alopecia areata, keloid, palmoplantar pustulosis, drug eruption/toxic eruption.
