Effects of this medicine

This medicine shows antifungal action by inhibiting biosynthesis of ergosterol which is a component of fungal cell membrane.

It is usually used to treat dermatomycosis [tinea (tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris), candidiasis (erosion interdigitalis, intertrigo) and chromophytosis].
