Effects of this medicine

This medicine suppresses fungal proliferation and shows fungicidal effects by inhibiting the enzymes needed for biosynthesis of cellular membrane components of fungi (mold), such as dermatophytes.It is usually used to treat dermatomycoses such as tinea (athlete's foot) and candidiasis of skin and tinea versicolor.
