Effects of this medicine 

This medicine promotes corneal injury healing by binding to fibronectin and promoting adhering/repairing corneal epithelial cells.

It has also multiple water molecules retaining function within the molecule of the active ingredient and retains/stabilizes tears to prevent eyes from drying out. It is usually used to treat endogenous keratoconjunctival epithelial disorder such as Sjogren's syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and dry eye, and exogenous keratoconjunctival epithelial disorder associated with after surgery, drug-induced, injury and wearing contact lenses.
