Effects of this medicine

This medicine suppresses proliferation of cancer cells (tumors) by suppressing nucleic-acid (DNA) synthesis of cancer cells.

It is usually used to treat gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, head and neck cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, inoperable or recurrent breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and biliary tract cancer.
