Effects of this medicine

This medicine acts directly on the cough center located in the brain, elevates cough reflex threshold level and shows anti-tussive (cough) effects.

It is usually used for the treatment of cough accompanying cold, acute/chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis and upper respiratory tract inflammation (laryngopharyngitis, nasal catarrh), and for that of cough caused by imaging measurement of bronchi and bronchoscopic examination.
