Effects of this medicine

This medicine has antagonistic action on histamine H1 receptors. It relieves nasal symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose and stuffed nose caused by seasonal (including Japanese cedar pollen allergy) and perennial allergic rhinitis due to mites and house dust, symptoms of hives, and itching of skin associated with eczema/dermatitis (including insect bites) and pruritus.

It is usually used in the treatment of symptoms of allergic rhinitis and hives, and itching of skin associated with skin diseases (eczema, dermatitis and pruritus).
