Effects of this medicine

This medicine activates nuclear receptors (PPARα) to regulate expression of proteins, and comprehensively improves lipid metabolism. It consequently lowers cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood and increases HDL cholesterol.
It is usually used in the treatment of hyperlipidemia.
