Effects of this medicine

This medicine increases gastric mucus volume and gastric mucosal blood flow rate by promoting the production of prostaglandin. It protects and restores gastric mucosa.

It is usually used to treat gastric ulcer and to improve gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness and edema) in acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis.
