Effects of this medicine

This medicine has antacid effect to suppress gastric acid.

It also increases intestinal osmotic pressure to gather water from intestine wall, softens/expands intestinal content and gives dilative stimulation to the intestine, consequently promotes defecation.

It is usually used for the antacid and improvement of the following symptoms in gastric/duodenal ulcer, gastritis, upper gastrointestinal dysfunction and for constipation and preventing calcium oxalate urolithiasis development.
