This medicine shows antibacterial effect by inhibiting bacterial DNA synthesis. It is a new quinolone antimicrobial to be used in the treatment of infection.

It is usually used in the treatment of wide-range infections such as respiratory infections, urinary tract infections and otorhinological infections.
