Effects of this medicine

This medicine has antagonistic action on histamine H1 receptors and suppressive action on releasing of various chemical mediators. It improves nasal symptoms such as sneeze, runny nose and nasal congestion caused by seasonal allergic rhinitis (including cedar pollen allergy) or perennial allergic rhinitis due to mites or house dust. It also improves various skin itching caused by dry skin, dermatitis due to insect bites or hives.

It is usually used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis and hives, and skin itching associated with skin diseases (eczema, dermatitis, pruritus and atopic dermatitis).
