Effects of this medicine 

This medicine replaces female hormone transdermally to improve vasomotor symptoms such as hot flush, hot flash and abnormal sweating due to decreased female hormones. It also improves bone density by suppressing bone resorption.
It is usually used to treat vasomotor symptoms (hot flush/sweating) and urogenital atrophy symptoms associated with climacteric disorder or ovarian deficiency symptoms, and postmenopausal osteoporosis, and for hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, gonadectomy or primary ovarian insufficiency.
