Effects of this medicine

This medicine stimulates dopamine receptors in the brain and improves symptoms of Parkinson's disease (tremor [shaking of the hands], muscle rigidity [muscle stiffness], slow movement, and difficulty in maintaining posture) and idiopathic restless legs syndrome (discomfort in the legs or a strong desire to move the legs, which can cause sleep disorder).

It is usually used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and idiopathic restless legs syndrome.
