Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a topical steroid and has the effects of dermal vasoconstriction/anti-inflammation to suppress dermal inflammation and improve dermal symptoms such as redness, swelling and itch.

It is usually used to treat eczema, dermatitis (including hand eczema, keratodermia tylodes palmaris progressiva, seborrheic dermatitis), psoriasis, insect sting, drug eruption/toxicoderma, pruritus (including strophulus, urticarial lichen, nodular prurigo), erythroderma and erythema (erythema exsudativum multiforme, Darier's erythema annulare centrifugum).
