Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a vitamin C preparation which takes part in collagen production to suppress weakening of the skin, bones and blood vessels, to improve function of the adrenal cortex, and to suppress formation of melanin pigment.

It is usually used to prevent and treat vitamin C deficiency as a supplement to inadequate dietary intake of this vitamin, to treat drug poisoning and for management of skin disorders.
