This medicine is a synthetic adrenocortical hormone agent that has anti-inflammatory effects, and thus improves symptoms such as redness, swelling, itches in the skin.

It is usually used for the treatment of eczema/dermatitis syndrome, pruritus cutaneous, prurigo syndrome, insect bites, psoriasis, palmoplanter pustulosis, drug eruption/toxicoderma.
