This medicine has an anti-inflammatory effect on the airways and a long bronchodilator effect by a beta 2 adrenergic receptor stimulating action. This will help to keep you free of attacks or to prevent symptoms of asthma.

It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma. 

It should not be used to relieve an asthma attack that has already begun.
