Effects of this medicine

This medicine has anti-anaphylactic/antihistaminic effect and suppresses the action of histamine and inflammatory materials which cause allergy and relieves the hypersensitivity of tissues such as airway or nasal mucosa.

It consequently improves allergic symptoms.
It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema/dermatitis, hives and cutaneous pruritus.

However, it is not a medicine for relief of asthmatic attack and symptoms which has already developed.
